Kevin Love Captures The Double-Double Record

History was made as Minnesota Timberwolves PF Kevin Love achieved a great feat. Love broke a record held by NBA great Moses Malone by going out and getting his 52nd straight double-double against the Indiana Pacers. Love doesn’t jump out of the gym. Love doesn’t make the spectacular play. He’s just a basketball player who goes out there and plays as hard as he can.

Kevin may not be playing for the best team in the NBA, but his feat is simply amazing. But the most amazing fact is that he doesn’t care about all the numbers, he cares about one thing: winning the game. After the game, Love was very glad for the support the fans gave him, but the first thing he spoke about after the game was the win. This is very rare in the NBA these days.

In this day and age where points and rebounds are the most talked about things, Love realizes that scoring points and pulling down rebounds mean nothing without the wins. Its because of his spirit, he will be a success in the NBA for years to come. Love has willed and worked himself into an NBA player.

The next step for Love is to transfer his work ethic and will to win to the rest of his team. The Wolves are young and they are somewhat talented, but for them to take it to the next level, they need to surround Love with more talented and hungry players. Maybe some of the players that are there in Minnesota will get better. Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure, Love will be the driving force behind anything this team does or will do in the future.

  1. Gotta admit, I never thought Love would make this big of an impact in the NBA ever, much less this soon. Hes the real deal, hell be wearing a ring before its over. Probably not in Minnesota, but somewhere.
